NeuralWaves | Neural network based Max for Live synthesizer

NeuralWaves is a synthesizer that uses a custom-made neural network, trained on thousands of waveforms, to generate the waves for the oscillators, the LFO and the waveshaper. It is based on the same in-house developed neural network used for Neuraloot.

The latent space of the neural network (i.e. the set of parameters that generates the waveform) can be directly manipulated, thus making possible the creation of a basically infinite set of smoothly evolving waveforms.

NeuralWaves does not end with this powerful neural network, though: different synthesis algorithms, a double filter, modulation envelopes and five internal effects allow it to shape the sound up to the finest level of detail. Also the LFO and the waveshaper are based upon the same customizable neural network.

NeuralWaves is compatible with Live 11.2+ and 12 (both Windows and Mac OSX are supported) and you can use it in standalone Max/MSP 8.2 (or higher), too. The download also features an example Live set with some ready to use presets.
